We are working on a 2027 Woodie Flowers Conference, planned for June 2027 in the Detroit Metro Area. Details will be announced as they are confirmed.
The Woodie Flowers Conference is a collaborative opportunity for FRC and FTC mentors to continue Dr. Woodie Flowers’ legacy by inspiring mentors to lead, live, and teach Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition.
The conference brings together passionate educators, volunteers, coaches, and mentors from across the FIRST® community for two days of presentations, conversation, and connection — celebrating mentorship, creativity, and gracious professionalism.
Who Organizes It
The conference is organized by Woodie Flowers Award recipients, with the support of Detroit-area Woodie Flowers Finalist Award recipients and FIRST® teams. It operates as part of The Woodie Flowers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
This event is not operated by FIRST HQ.
